Teddy Thank You Card

Hello everyone,

Apologies that it's been a couple of weeks since my last post. This June has been a busy month and still got loads planned! I've just got back from Trearddur Bay, North Wales, it was so lovely to visit friends who have just moved there. Sunday I'm off to Stratford-upon-Avon for a couple of nights then Oxford on Wednesday to visit Blenheim Palace. Then Friday off to London for a couple of nights for my half brothers wedding. So lots to look forward to!

I've managed to complete a card and here it is...

Good morning friends and visitors

Wow, this is so early for me, I had trouble sleeping as it was so warm! So I got up and made a couple of cards for some challenges. I'm enjoying entering challenges at the moment. I don't normally make cards for a particular challenge, I go through Paper Playful blog and see what challenge my card fits. However, I wanted to enter a particular challenge so made the card for it and found a few more where it would also fit too. So here it is...

on to Neenah Card - I added some fine glitter to the cupcakes

Inky Tulips

Good morning friends

It's been very hot in 'sunny Southend' too hot for me and my pale skin! I was this last week going to pop to the sea front and get a famous Rossi ice-cream, but it was way too busy for me, so I may go next week when the children go back to school.

Anyway, I have a card to share that is out of my comfort zone, but it's good to try something different! I was pleased with how it turned out and a very easy card to make, I'll try it again and add more elements to it next time, so here it is...

I used the following to make this:

A DL card size.

Hunkydory Prism Watercolour pencils, blended with water on watercolour card.

Stamp and die are unknown from eBay.

Sequins.

Wedding Card

Good Morning 

So it looks like it's going to be a lovely weekend here in 'sunny Southend' and it's a Bank Holiday here in the UK... woo hoo. Plenty of things to keep me busy! 

Anyway, I have a wedding to go to in June, it's my half brother's, that is subject to good ole Boris letting us all go. We won't know until the 21st June, my fingers are crossed for them, they should have got married March 2020. So I'm dress shopping tomorrow with my best friend. So for the occasion I have made a card for them. Their colour scheme is navy blue and burgundy. (You may not think the ribbon goes, but I wanted to add some navy and I didn't like the card with navy card stock.) So here it is...

To make this card I used the following:

7x7 card blank

Whimsy Dream Clipart image which you can find HERE, coloured with Promarker's on Neenah card

I foiled the image first in gold using my laser printer, Thermoweb decofoil and passed it through my laminator. You might not be able to see this in the photo, but it's very effective!

The dies are unknown

The font is 'The Quiet Night'

Everything else is from my stash.

It's Your Special Day

Good evening

So what a week here in 'Sunny Southend,' very strong winds and rain, I don't ever remember a May this bad and I have a long memory.
