Hello friends and visitors

I hope everyone is ready for the weekend, let's hope that the weather is a good one! I've a busy one, a birthday party for a 3 year old tomorrow, secret cinema tomorrow night and Sunday a family afternoon. So no crafting for me, even though my mojo is not back I still have a lot of crafting to fit in and luckily it involves using my Cricut Maker.

Anyway, here is a card I made a few weeks ago and it's another cutie from Lili of the Valley and here it is...

 To make this I used the following:

6x6 card base

Lili of the Valley Digi image - James with Heart Bouquet which can be found HERE

coloured with Promarker's onto Neenah Classic card

Papers are First Edition from Let's Celebrate and Retro Blooms pads

Sentiment die is Make and Create

Ribbon and faux Pearls from stash.

It's been a beautiful day here in 'sunny Southend'. I hope it stays like this tomorrow as I'm going to a BBQ, my friends grandson will be six. Yikes he's growing up too quickly! So, I'm still crafting through the night while watching the Olympics and yes I'm still shattered. Anyway here is a card that I have made...

Well it's the last day of July, where has this month gone? Let's hope August is a good one and the weather improves in 'sunny Southend'. So another night of watching the Olympics, it brilliant to see Team GB win their medals, but I must say I'm pretty shattered, only another week to go! Wow, this is so early for me, I had trouble sleeping as it was so warm! So I got up and made a couple of cards for some challenges. I'm enjoying entering challenges at the moment. I don't normally make cards for a particular challenge, I go through Paper Playful blog and see what challenge my card fits. However, I wanted to enter a particular challenge so made the card for it and found a few more where it would also fit too. So here it is...

It's a Boy!

 Hello everyone.

So a nice long Easter weekend to craft as the weather has taken a turn for the worse! It's been beautiful here in sunny Southend this week. I would like to say a very big thank you for all the recent comments that I have received on my cards, it's so kind of everyone to take the time to visit, it's so appreciated and gives me a boost to keep going. Today I made a baby boy card for a friend who is expecting a 'lockdown' baby! It's so nice for something positive to come from what has been a pretty awful year. Enough of the doom and gloom she says and on to my card. So here it is...

Hello!

 Hi Friends

Sorry that I haven't posted for a couple of weeks, I've been so busy with Christmas commissions and I will show these at a later date. We're now in GMT in the UK with the clocks going back, I hate the dark nights coming early! 

Anyway,  I have a card to share with you using a Mo Manning stamp, I love this old girl :)

 

I've had this stamp for so long it's by Stampavie and it's Mo Manning's Mummu, I've coloured the image with Promarkers, the papers are First Edition, the flowers are from a Hunkydory die and everything else is from my stash.

Have a great week ahead and those that are in the UK that are under Tier 3 lockdown or Firebreak in Wales please stay safe.

Lili of the Valley Facebook Challenge 'Summer'

Hi all.

I have made a card for the Lili of the Valley Facebook challenge and the theme is 'Summer.' What I would like to know, what has happened to the weather, summer it's not more like an autumn dreary day. I'm really pleased with the card it has turned out better than the design I had in my mind. The ingredients for the card are Lili of the Valley retired Art Pad, ribbon is from Kayes textiles, papers are First Edition, flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, sentiment is also Lili of the Valley, Spellbinders dies and the decoration in the corners are unbranded from China.

Here is my creation, I hope you like it any comments left are always lovely to read.

Hi Peeps

Well as I said in my previous post, I am getting back to this blogging lark. It's a sort of therapy for me. I suffer from severe depression, so as part of my therapy, I'm slowly getting back to crafting and part of this is to share my creations. It's been a long road to get to this position for me and I'm grateful for friends and family for their support. Anyway here is a little creation I made for no one in particular, I just enjoyed making it. Anyway folks I hope you like it. Have a great week ahead.

I have used an image from a discontinued Lili of the Valley art pad, papers are First Edition, 'Birdsong', heart and hello dies are Memory Box the pointy die is unbranded from China and you can get it from here (just put in cutting dies in the search box,) ribbon is from here (if you're into sewing they have lovely material, (I just wish I was clever enough to make my own clothes,) gems are from stash.

Hello Friends, just popping by to show a card which I made as part of a commission of three. I was asked to make three cards for young ladies who were off to Uni for the first time. Not easy! I decided to use Simply Sassy stamps as they are so versitile and lovely to colour. This stamp is one of my favourites and decided to use autumnal colours. I think the colours work really well, what do you think? I'll pop the other two on in the next couple of weeks. Anyway here she is:
