It's a Boy!

 Hello everyone.

So a nice long Easter weekend to craft as the weather has taken a turn for the worse! It's been beautiful here in sunny Southend this week. I would like to say a very big thank you for all the recent comments that I have received on my cards, it's so kind of everyone to take the time to visit, it's so appreciated and gives me a boost to keep going. Today I made a baby boy card for a friend who is expecting a 'lockdown' baby! It's so nice for something positive to come from what has been a pretty awful year. Enough of the doom and gloom she says and on to my card. So here it is...

I used the following to make this card:
6x6 card base
Lili of the Valley digi stamp - Clouds which can be found here
Lili of the Valley sentiment digi stamp - Baby greeting which can be found here
Coloured with Promarkers
Papers are 'It's a Boy' from First Edition
Embossalicious Embossing folder - Clouds
Memory box Pippi butterfly die
Oval die is unbranded
Button and sprinkles from stash.

Have a great Easter everyone and I'll be back soonish!

Hello!

Hi Peeps

Well as I said in my previous post, I am getting back to this blogging lark. It's a sort of therapy for me. I suffer from severe depression, so as part of my therapy, I'm slowly getting back to crafting and part of this is to share my creations. It's been a long road to get to this position for me and I'm grateful for friends and family for their support. Anyway here is a little creation I made for no one in particular, I just enjoyed making it. Anyway folks I hope you like it. Have a great week ahead.

Hugs
Debbie x

Hippy Chick!

Hello Friends, just popping by to show a card which I made as part of a commission of three. I was asked to make three cards for young ladies who were off to Uni for the first time. Not easy! I decided to use Simply Sassy stamps as they are so versitile and lovely to colour. This stamp is one of my favourites and decided to use autumnal colours. I think the colours work really well, what do you think? I'll pop the other two on in the next couple of weeks. Anyway here she is:

Ingredients Used
Simply Sassy stamp - Hippy Chick
coloured with Promarkers
Papers First Edition - New Leaf
Cheery Lyn Die - Princess Die

Hello all, I keep apologising for my lack of blogging and I have every excuse under the sun, but I am truly sorry for the lack of posts and comments. I have a few personal issues that I am dealing with at the moment and today is a good day, so thought I would post a card I made for the friendship swap over on Docrafts. When I made this card a couple of weeks ago the sun was shining and was very hot! I'd like to know what happened, the last couple of days have been awful. Anyway here is my bright and cheerful card. LOTV - Blossom

Hello Peeps,  I know it's been a while and I know I'm a useless blogger. I have lots of reasons for not posting, but it would take a lifetime to tell you and I think we would all rather make some cards.
Also I've heard a rumour that we are expecting some summer weather this weekend, what do you think, are those pigs flying yet?
Anyway now that my mojo is back I've managed to make some cards recently and I have one to show you today and here it is.

I so adore this image from Lili of the Valley and it's the first time I've inked her up. I treated myself to the Tim Holtz - on the edge doily die and I love it and think it works perfectly with this card.

Ingredients Used Are
Lili of the Valley Image coloured
with Promarkers
Lucy Cromwell Papers from Papermania
Nesties and Memory Box Dies
Flowers and Ribbon Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls and Cute button from stash

I hope you all like the card and I have a new motto 'I must do better with blogging and try and blog more often'. Have a great weekend friends and thank you for sticking with me.

Hugs Debbie x
