The Dreaded Boy Card!

Hello and it's Another Saturday!

So where has the last week gone, I'm still suffering from shoulder problems, not good at all, but hey ho. So it's really hot here in sunny Southend today and I went and sat in a friends garden for an hour or so until I was starting to fry!

I made a card a few weeks ago for a male/boy, I really hate making them, I do like a nice girly card... So here it is and was really quick to make.

I do love this colourful simply print image from Lili of the Valley which you can find here, the papers I've had for so long I'm not sure where they came from.. sorry, the punch is  Martha Stewart and I used Spellbinder dies.

Have a great week, and thanks for passing by.

Friendship

Hello all, I keep apologising for my lack of blogging and I have every excuse under the sun, but I am truly sorry for the lack of posts and comments. I have a few personal issues that I am dealing with at the moment and today is a good day, so thought I would post a card I made for the friendship swap over on Docrafts. When I made this card a couple of weeks ago the sun was shining and was very hot! I'd like to know what happened, the last couple of days have been awful. Anyway here is my bright and cheerful card. I hope you all like it.

Ingredients for Card
Bildmalarna stamp from Dies to Die For coloured with Promarkers
Friendship stamp from Lili of the Valley
Papers are First Edition - Spring Drop
Memory Box Die from Maddylisa Crafts
Martha Stewart punches
Ribbon from The Ribbon Girl
Charm and bling from stash

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

It's Snooze O'clock

Hello Friends, I hope you are all having a good weekend. I hope you are getting some crafting in? I'm having a crafting day with the Olympics on in the background. Anyway I've made a male card, not one of my favourites. I do like things to be girlie, but I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I've used another new die, Tim Holtz's 'Weathered Wood Clock die and as I didn't have the right colour for the design I coloured the paper using distress inks. So here it is.
Ingredients for Card
Fizzy Moon 'All About Him' Stamp
coloured with Promarkers
Papers are Papermania 'Bookprint and Portobello Road'
Tim Holtz Weathered Clock Die
Martha Stewart Punch
Nesties
Card Candi

I thought I would give this card to the boyfriend for his birthday as this is how he looks when he's not working and especially when sport is on the TV!  Have a great week ahead and lets hope the sun comes back, it's blooming dull here in Southend.

Hugs Debbie x

Hello and Happy 2012 to you All

Hello everyone, I hope you have all recovered from all the festivities. Christmas was over for me pretty quickly as I had to work Boxing day and New Year, but I did have a lovely christmas day.

I would like to thank my crafting buddies Lorraine and Leigh for my lovely crafting christmas goodies, I was so spoilt by them.

I did promise that I was going to be more active with my blog this year and so here is my first card for 2012. It's using a new stamp from Bild malarna that I've been itching to ink up. So a big thanks to the boyfriend for getting it for me....he has great taste..lol, even though I had to point him in the right direction.

Recipe

Hello Friends
Please accept my apologies for being such a useless blogger, I can't believe its been over 2 months since my last post. I need more hours in the day!!
Also I'm dedicating this post to my blogging pal Mau who has sent me some lovely messages while I've been absent. Thank you Mau.
I've been experimenting on some of my cards and this one is so different for me. I usually go for neat and tidy cards, but I've had a go a distressing and sewing.  Mmm I blame Teresa she has such beautiful cards. I think I'm pleased with it! So here it is:

Recipe
Bild Malarna Stamp - Mimosa Hello
coloured with Promarkers
Papers are 6x6 Magnolia
Tim Holtz distress ink and distressing tool
Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Doily, charm and bling from stash
Sentiment is Personal Impression
The Bakers twine, ribbon and stamp all came from crafts-4-you.

I really hope you like what I've done with this card as I said it's definately something different for me. So I would really love to see your comments, thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
