Whimsy Dreams Clipart - Wildflowers

Hello friends and visitors

I had a lovely few days dog sitting Dora the Dachshund, who is completely mad! I haven't done any cardmaking since I've been home, I've taken up another crafty hobby - I'm into cross stitching, I'm finding it very therapeutic, I've started off doing a few easy things and managed to find a few freebie patterns. I'm going to turn some of them into cards, so watch this space.

Anyhow, I have a card to share that I made a few weeks ago and here it is...

To make this card I used a 7x7 card blank, Whimsy Dream Clipart image called Wildflowers which you can find here, coloured with Promarker's onto Neenah Classic Card, the sentiment is a stamp from Inkylicious which you can find here, sorry not sure where the papers are from and embellishments and ribbon from stash.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and any comments left are lovely to read, have a great week and see you soon.

Wedding Card

Good Morning

So it looks like it's going to be a lovely weekend here in 'sunny Southend' and it's a Bank Holiday here in the UK... woo hoo. Plenty of things to keep me busy!

Anyway, I have a wedding to go to in June, it's my half brother's, that is subject to good ole Boris letting us all go. We won't know until the 21st June, my fingers are crossed for them, they should have got married March 2020. So I'm dress shopping tomorrow with my best friend. So for the occasion I have made a card for them. Their colour scheme is navy blue and burgundy. (You may not think the ribbon goes, but I wanted to add some navy and I didn't like the card with navy card stock.) So here it is...

To make this card I used the following:
7x7 card blank
Whimsy Dream Clipart image which you can find HERE, coloured with Promarker's on Neenah card
I foiled the image first in gold using my laser printer, Thermoweb decofoil and passed it through my laminator. You might not be able to see this in the photo, but it's very effective!
The dies are unknown
The font is 'The Quiet Night'
Everything else is from my stash.

Thanks for taking the time to visit and have a great weekend.

I do love a flower!

Hello friends and visitors,

So who can believe it's May already and how blooming cold it's been. We had terrible winds here in 'sunny Southend' Monday and Tuesday, they were horrendous, my mother in laws garden was pretty banged up, but she wouldn't let us go out there. I've got my second Covid jab on the 11th, I'll be so happy when I've had it, hopefully there will some normality to my life! Anyway, I have a card to share with you and I would like to thank Jules from 'Always with a Heart' blog for sharing a card from Whimsy Dreams. I fell in love with the image and decided to purchase it. I coloured it with Promarkers. So here it is...

I used a 7x7 card blank, Neenah card coloured with Promarkers, I'm not sure where the dotted paper came from, sorry, all other paper/card from a big pile of overs. I get all my ribbon from my local haberdashery shop (they are so helpful!) The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, enamel dots from stash and double stitched square die is from eBay.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and those that leave comments are amazing, I love reading them. Have a great weekend.

Happy 4th Birthday!

Good morning blog friends and visitors.

I'm on countdown now as my shielding finishes on the 31st March. It's been a long year and I'm so looking forward to doing my own food shopping, but still staying safe. It'll be great to visit friends even if it's in their gardens. So not long now.

Anyway, I have a card to share with you all, this card I made for my great niece who will be 4 on the 1st April and she loves horse riding! So I thought this is a great image for her. So here it is...

To make this I used a 7x7 card blank, Simply Print image from Lili of the Valley which can be found here. Spellbinder die, number and happy birthday die are unbranded, heart embossing folder (it could be papermania!) Flowers are Trimcraft and Wild Orchid Craft roses and everything else is from my stash.

Have a great weekend and a big thank you for all the lovely comments on my last two cards, I'm amazed how many of you took the time out of your busy lives to visit.

Stay safe, Debbie x
