Wow, it's February!

 Hello friends,

Well can you believe it we're into February and it didn't seem that long ago we were waiting for the big man in red! Still no snow in 'sunny' Southend, plenty of wind and rain, luckily we're stuck in! I must admit I'm struggling with this current lockdown, I'm so missing my family and friends. It's my niece's birthday this month and my mojo decided to go missing, so I cased a card I made a few years ago. I'm pleased with it.

I can show the card as my niece doesn't look at my blog and here it is...

So I used the following to make this:

6x6 card blank.

Papers are Trimcraft, First Edition 'Love Letters'.

Lili of the Valley Art Pad, unfortunately, I can't find this image in their Etsy shop.

A Card for a Man!

 Happy Sunday!

I would like to say a very big thank you to all my new followers, I'm so happy to see you. It's a nice bright but cold day in 'sunny' Southend, no sign of any snow as of yet. 

Today, I am sharing a card for another friend, this is my busiest time for birthdays. It's the dreaded man's card. I really don't enjoy making them at all, but, needs must, so I try my best! So here it is...

The stamp is from Woodware, 6x6 card base, the dies are unbranded, card candy and ribbon from my stash. Have a good week everyone and please stay safe.

A Birthday Card

Hello, I hope you are all keeping well. I'm feeling really shattered today after the wind and rain kept me awake most of the night! At least we didn't get any snow. I'm spending my lockdown crafting, I've been making cards during the day and the evenings knitting or crocheting, I can do this while binge watching and catching up on tv programmes.

Anyway, here is the first card to share with you today. 

I have used a simply print image from Lili of the Valley which you can find here. A 5x7 card blank, the dies and embossing folder are all unbranded, ribbon and gems from my stash.

Using My Cricut to Make Cards

 Hello new and old friends

So sunny Southend is not so sunny, loads of rain! Here in Essex we are not doing so well on the Covid front our hospitals are full and running out of oxygen - not good. My MIL gets her vaccine tomorrow which is great news for the family. I'm staying home and doing some crafting, which is good for my mental health and binge watching loads of telly programmes.

Anyway, on my last post I did say I would show you the cards I made as part of a commission. It would seem when we go into lockdown I don't stop, it's hard to say no to people. So here are the other 2 cards I made.

I made these 2 cards using my Cricut Maker, I was sent some ideas they they liked and came up with these. They look simple, but a lot of time goes into the designing of these. I'm really pleased with them and so is the person who ordered them.

Good Morning!

Happy Sunday friends

I hope everyone has had a good week? Here in the UK we are in another lockdown, not surprising really. I'm staying home and getting some much needed crafting in. It's my busy time of year, so many birthdays coming up. I've also had a commission for three cards. I've done these and will share with you over the week. They've all been made using my Cricut Maker.

Here is the first one, I love the way this has turned out, it's an Eclipse card, never done one before and it was a pig to make! I must invest in some large alphabet dies as this would make it so much easier to make.

I must admit I have been a bit naughty and scanned the image in, but this is what was chosen and was the only way I could think of doing it. The mum word is cut using Cricut Sans font, the sentiment is cut with vinyl and using baby steps font. I have used a 5x7 card base.
