Wedding Card

Hi Friends and Guests
I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful sunshine, it's just gorgeous here in Southend. Well I did say I would make some cards, so here is the first of a few. I'm making cards surrounded by packing boxes! Also I would like to say big thank you to all those that have left lovely comments on my cards, it means a lot. x

I made this card for me to give to a friends son who is getting married in a couple of weeks. I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out.  I used a stamp that I got from Handy Hippo, I saw this stamp in a gallery on Docrafts and has taken me months to find it. I stamped the image using Memento ink, I wanted it left plain and not coloured in. I put 1mm pale pink gems on the dress and veil. The card is very pale pink Bazzill card stock and white hammered card. The flowers are from Pink Gem and Wild Orchid crafts and I dabbed a little glitter on to them. The sentiment is computer generated. Ribbon and the other gems are from stash.

Friendship Card Swap (April)

Hi Friends

It has been a while since I have uploaded  a card. This is a card I made for the April friendship card swap over on Docrafts. My partner was Alex (Eisbaerin). I know she has received it so I thought I would share it with you.

The card was made using a stamp from Pink Gem coloured with Promarkers, papers are Basic Grey and bling and buttons from stash.

I would also like to thank you all for your kind support that I have received. It means a lot. I'm due to be evicted Saturday 24 April, but after receiving legal advice I will still be here for the time being. So to cheer me up I'm going to make some cards. So watch this space!!

Also a big thank you to Leigh (charity crafter) for her support, I met Leigh last week at Barleylands and she treated me to coffee and cake (yum). We had a good natter, put the world to right and we had a good look around the craft shops. What an amazing women!

Just a quickie!!

Hi All,

Just a quick post for you today. Hope you're all having a good week so far? I know I said I wouldn't be making any cards, because of my impending move, but I completely forgot a friends birthday which is tomorrow. I quickly made this card using the Lili of the Valley stamp image coloured with Promarker, papers from Papermania. Sentiment is a peel off and buttons from stash. I hope you think it looks ok?

It's been a week!

Hi Friends
Sorry it has been a week since my last post, but it's been hectic at home.  I'm packing up my flat to move as my landlady is evicting me in 2 weeks. Oh well and I'm still looking for somewhere to live or its back on friends sofas again.

Anyway enough of me, I have still found time to make a birthday card for a friend who loves to shop also made a friendship card for Alex on Docrafts. I'll show that card at a later date as I haven't sent it to her yet.

For the birthday card I used the Wild Rose Studio stamp again (I do like this one) coloured with Promarkers, papers are from Basic Grey and everything else is from stash.

I will still be online for a couple of weeks at least and will still be looking at your blogs and leaving comments, but cardmaking will be taking a back burner for a bit. I do still have notelet set to show you and will be uploading this week.
