Elisabeth Bell - Pen Pal

Hello Friends

I hope you are all well, it's a real cloudy day here in Southend, but quite muggy. 
I'd like to thank Charity Crafter (Leigh), Lorraine from Lorraines creations and Angie aka Justang for my beautiful cards and the lovely gifts I received too.

I've got so much to do today as the boyfriend is taking me away tomorrow for a couple of days to Devizes, so looking forward to a change of scenery. I haven't even thought about packing yet!

Anyway enough of me talking complete rubbish and on to my card. It's another creation using an Elisabeth Bell stamp - I do love them and it's ashame you can't buy them from Sugar Nellie anymore.  I'm really pleased with the way this card turned out and thought I'll enter it into some challenges. (see list below)       So here she is.......

If Friends were Flowers..........

Hello Friends

I hope you are all keeping well? I'm on holiday from work this week so I have some time to make cards and visit my allotment, I have loads of veggie plants to plant! All I ask is that we get some rain this week as the ground is really hard. Also my boyfriend is taking me away on Thursday for a night as a birthday surprise - d0n't know where he is taking me mmm that should be interesting.

Anyway on to my card today, it's a CAS card using one of the lovely Ruth images which you can find here please go and check out Ruths blog she has lovely images there.

Where Has the Time Gone!

Hi Friends

Please accept my apologies for lack of blogging, I've discovered that there is not enough time in the day!! Anyone else have this problem? Also as the weather has been really great here in Southend I've spent a lot of time down on my new allotment. It sure needed some work! Anyway I've still tried to get some card making in and I have a little card to show you.

Also I hope someone can help me, I've received a card through the post just addressed to Debbie, I haven't opened it yet as it could be a birthday card. So if you did send this card a very big thank you to you and please don't think I've ignored you!

The lace is from The Ribbon Girl 

 (I couldn't find the right colour for the lace so I distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks)

Also used the same ink on the doily.

A Little Bird Told Me.....

Hello all, I hope you are all well, it's been a lovely few days here in Southend, but unfortunately not really been able to take advantage due to a blooming migraine.  Anyhow I thought I would share with you a card I made for my buddy Leigh Jones aka Charity Crafter, it's her birthday today. Happy birthday Leigh x. I've used a cute stamp from Penny Blacks' Slapstick range, I do like these stamps. Also a big thank you to Teresa (craftingallday) I hope she doesn't mind me getting inspiration from her doily layout.
