Just Cute Bears Challenge

This is my entry into the Just Cute Bears Challenge.

The brief was buttons and bows and of course the image must be a bear. I really enjoyed making this card the image is a stamp from Pink Gem which I coloured with Promarkers, the dress I added 1mm diamantes and used stickle glitter to the flowers. The papers are Bazzil card stock and Perfectly Posh Frilly Floral from Imaginisce, sentiment is Wild Rose Studio and buttons and bows from stash.

My First Whiff of Joy Stamp!

Hi Friends and those just passing by.

Ok who took away the sun? I was off to a garden show today, the lovely Leigh (charity crafter) gave me a couple of free tickets to the spring show in Southend this Bank Holiday weekend. Thank you Leigh and Steve. Hope the weather is better tomorrow!

Anyway I thought I would share with you a card I made a few days ago, with my very first Whiff of Joy stamp. I do like a nice girly stamp and this one I love. To make this, I stamped the image and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are Papermania (forever friends pink parfait), pale pink Bazzill card stock, flowers are Wild Orchid and Prima, the sentiment is Wild Rose Studio, ribbon, pearls and bling are from stash. I scalloped the edges with the Xcut punch. I'm really pleased with the way it's turned out.

Wedding Card

I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful sunshine, it's just gorgeous here in Southend. Well I did say I would make some cards, so here is the first of a few. I'm making cards surrounded by packing boxes! Also I would like to say big thank you to all those that have left lovely comments on my cards, it means a lot. x

I made this card for me to give to a friends son who is getting married in a couple of weeks. I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out.  I used a stamp that I got from Handy Hippo, I saw this stamp in a gallery on Docrafts and has taken me months to find it. I stamped the image using Memento ink, I wanted it left plain and not coloured in. I put 1mm pale pink gems on the dress and veil. The card is very pale pink Bazzill card stock and white hammered card. The flowers are from Pink Gem and Wild Orchid crafts and I dabbed a little glitter on to them. The sentiment is computer generated. Ribbon and the other gems are from stash.

Friendship Card Swap (April)

Hi Friends

It has been a while since I have uploaded  a card. This is a card I made for the April friendship card swap over on Docrafts. My partner was Alex (Eisbaerin). I know she has received it so I thought I would share it with you.

The card was made using a stamp from Pink Gem coloured with Promarkers, papers are Basic Grey and bling and buttons from stash.

I would also like to thank you all for your kind support that I have received. It means a lot. I'm due to be evicted Saturday 24 April, but after receiving legal advice I will still be here for the time being. So to cheer me up I'm going to make some cards. So watch this space!!

Also a big thank you to Leigh (charity crafter) for her support, I met Leigh last week at Barleylands and she treated me to coffee and cake (yum). We had a good natter, put the world to right and we had a good look around the craft shops. What an amazing women!
