Just a quickie!!

Hi All,

Just a quick post for you today. Hope you're all having a good week so far? I know I said I wouldn't be making any cards, because of my impending move, but I completely forgot a friends birthday which is tomorrow. I quickly made this card using the Lili of the Valley stamp image coloured with Promarker, papers from Papermania. Sentiment is a peel off and buttons from stash. I hope you think it looks ok?

It's been a week!

Hi Friends
Sorry it has been a week since my last post, but it's been hectic at home.  I'm packing up my flat to move as my landlady is evicting me in 2 weeks. Oh well and I'm still looking for somewhere to live or its back on friends sofas again.

Anyway enough of me, I have still found time to make a birthday card for a friend who loves to shop also made a friendship card for Alex on Docrafts. I'll show that card at a later date as I haven't sent it to her yet.

For the birthday card I used the Wild Rose Studio stamp again (I do like this one) coloured with Promarkers, papers are from Basic Grey and everything else is from stash.

I will still be online for a couple of weeks at least and will still be looking at your blogs and leaving comments, but cardmaking will be taking a back burner for a bit. I do still have notelet set to show you and will be uploading this week.

Great News for Me!!

Happy Easter friends and guests, hope your all having a great relaxing day and not over indulging too much!! I can honestly say that not one piece of chocolate has passed my lips, well not yet anyway.

Now down to my great news. I've won my first challenge woo hoo gobsmacked I am. My entry into Just Cute Bears was a winner and I've won a lovely stamp from Cuddly Buddly. What a great surprise to me.  So I would like to thank all my followers for the lovely comments you leave on my cards without you I wouldn't have had the courage and inspiration to enter.

My First 'Proper' Challenge Card

Hi All
Another post from me I'm afraid, but thought I would share this card with you. I'm entering this card in to a few challenges. These will be my very first 'proper' challenges. The first challenge is 'Moving along the Times Challenge' #40 Heidi's sketch/theme. You had to use pink,brown and ribbon. The next is 'Just Cute Bears Challenge' theme Easter. Another is 'cupcakecraft challenge #84' the theme for this is spring or Easter and lots of chocolate. Finally the last challenge is 'papertake weekly' this week is an open theme.

So I made an Easter card using an image from the DigiStamp Boutique coloured with Promarkers, Bazzill card stock in pink and pale spotted tan, patterened paper from My Minds Eye, ribbon, flowers and card candy from stash, sentiment is a free stamp from a magazine.

I hope you all like it, I'm pleased with my first effort for the challenges. Thanks for taking the time to pop over to my blog.

I shall link up all the creations I've spotted - they're all fab...and the Coco one is sooo pretty.
I craft on a budget too...it can get so expensive otherwise, but I am a simple style card maker - good job too!
